EMS: Life-Saving Resources for Our Community
The Emergency Medical Services department is an integral part of Seneca County Emergency Services, providing life-saving assistance to our community on a daily basis. The department, directed by Ken Majors, supplies all hardware, equipment, medical direction, protocol, administrative details, training, and oversight for the districts.
- Covers 10 townships and 5 villages
- 7 squads out of 5 joint ambulance districts
- 1,500 runs annually, transporting about 1,000 patients
- 120 personnel, mostly volunteers
