[Tiffin, OH Dec. 8, 2020] - Today, Seneca County Emergency Management Agency is announcing the launch of a new website for Seneca County emergency services including EMA, Emergency Medical Service (EMS) and the Local Emergency Planning Commission (LEPC). The website also will be a portal for information regarding Seneca County communications, emergency plans and planning resources for home, business, education and industry.
The website, senecacountyema.org, will work as a clearinghouse to provide up-to-date information to the public as well as provide links to other county office pages. Information provided would include weather updates, severe weather watches and warnings and dedicated pages for health emergencies, such as COVID-19 and the county’s response. Additionally, residents can sign up for Wireless Emergency Notification System from the EMA webpage, which provides notifications sent directly to individuals’ cell phone, email or home phone. For up-to-date information on the COVID-19 pandemic, visit /covid-19/seneca-county-covid-19-information or find the link at senecacountyema.org.
Also, Seneca County EMA encourages all citizens of Seneca County to get their flu shot to protect themselves against the influenza virus. Residents can get COVID-19 at the same time as the flu.
For more information, contact the EMA office, (419) 447-0266.
